 Ivy Montessori School has provided the best of Montessori education to students since 1983. We began as one school and soon expanded to three as demand for spaces in our school increased.
We fill our classes mainly through word-of-mouth and referrals, and, to a lesser degree, through on site drop-ins.
The curriculum is organized into four main areas: practical life (activities that develop everyday living skills), sensorial (sensory awareness exercises and puzzles), language arts (reading, literature, grammar, writing, and spelling), and mathematics. In addition, we expose the children to art, science, geography, music, dance, drama, field trips,
and many other educational experiences.
